The Network Engineer role provides professional services including design and deployment, technical support and management our customer’s networking and security infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure to agreed service levels
- Monitoring and ticketing system e.g. Nagios / iTOP
- Working with Cloud environments, e.g. Azure / Jelastic / AWS
- Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels
- Engaging with projects to ensure design of technical solutions are in line with the requirements of the customer
- Acting as a technical escalation point for major incidents related to the service delivery from the data centre and customer sites
- Ensuring technical documentation is completed and updated to professional standards
- Continuously improving programmes of all technology platforms across the datacentre
- Logging calls with third party vendors (such as Cisco/Fortinet/Huawei/Palo Alto/HP/Dell) and escalate when necessary
- Performing Firewall Configuration, troubleshooting and Administration
- Consulting customer with technical discussions
- Providing advice and guidance to the technical specialist team and acting as an escalation point within the function where required.
- Adhering all company policies and processes in accordance with ITIL levels.

- Degree in Network Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same role
- Strong background with core network technologies in large-scale deployments
- Good working knowledge and experience in Cisco, Fortinet Firewalls, HP and Huawei environment.
- Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills, Intruder Detection Systems, LAN & WAN, Routing Protocols.
- VoIP support (CUCM, Avaya, Polycom, etc.,)
- Appropriate certifications in core technology platforms (CCNP, AWS, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site and multi-disciplinary problems and incidents
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good English communications skills (oral & written)
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Experience of working in a multi-client solutions provider
- ITIL knowledge/accreditation specialising around operational Incident/Problem and change management.
- Good communication in English
