Stop: 0xc0000218 {Registry File Failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file):
\SystemRoot\System32\Config\SYSTEM or its log or alternate.
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.

Bỏ dĩa WINXP CD vào boot bằng CD.
Khi thấy màn hình "Welcome setup", Gỏ R chạy Recovery Console (có thể bị đòi Password của Admin)
Khi vào trong Recovery Console cammand prompt : đánh lệnh như sau và enter ở cuối câu:


md tmp
copy c:\windows\system32\config\system c:\windows\tmp\system.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\software c:\windows\tmp\software.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\sam c:\windows\tmp\sam.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\security c:\windows\tmp\security.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\default c:\windows\tmp\default.bak

delete c:\windows\system32\config\system
delete c:\windows\system32\config\software
delete c:\windows\system32\config\sam
delete c:\windows\system32\config\security
delete c:\windows\system32\config\default

copy c:\windows\repair\system c:\windows\system32\config\system
copy c:\windows\repair\software c:\windows\system32\config\software
copy c:\windows\repair\sam c:\windows\system32\config\sam
copy c:\windows\repair\security c:\windows\system32\config\security
copy c:\windows\repair\default c:\windows\system32\config\default

Xong rồi đánh lệnh Exit . máy sẽ restart lại.

Hix. Còn cách nào khác không vậy? Vì mình cài Linux + Windows nên bỏ đĩa CD Windows vào nó không khởi động được...hixhixx
Nhân tiện xin hỏi có ai biết cách cài Window trên máy đã có Linux rùi không. Mình sợ cài lại WIN sẽ không khởi động Linux được nữa.

- vừa linux vừa windows vẫn khởi động bằng cd được mà, đâu có gì đâu.
- nếu cài linux rồi, và muốn cài windows thì cứ partition rồi cài win lên, sau đó bỏ đĩa linux vào, cho nó rewrite lại cái lilo boot gì đó vô master boot record là khởi động được cả 2 hdh.
