Hỏi về MS Outlook 2003

Em có 3 cái account mail trong Outlook, nhưng lúc mới bật lên chỉ xem được các thư của 1 account duy nhất, 2 cái còn lại làm sao xem được thư đây nhỉ? ( tức là làm sao chuyển qua lại giữa các account để xem email?)
(trong 2 accout còn lại, có 1 cái là default, thế mà em không biết mở thế nào, thế mới đau chứ)

vậy khi em muốn send email, chọn new mail thì nó sẽ cho mình gửi = cái dèault account trong 3 cái accoutn đó. Làm sao gửi mail = 2 account kia?

Khi mở new mail, ở mục from, click phải vào default account nó sẽ hiện thêm 2 account kia, rồi chọn 1.

Bạn nên chuyển sang dung thunderbird, ver mới nhất là 1.5. Các tính năng nói chung là trội hơn hẳn OutLook, nhất là về lọc Spam và tạo bộ lọc cho mail. Có spelling checker (nếu hay xài tiếng Anh). Các account bạn có thể chọn nó chạy riêng từng folder hoặc đặt folder chứa mail (ko xài chung Local Folder). Rất thuận tiện cho việc backup mail. Chỉ cần copy thư mục chứa mail. Sau này có cài đặt lại chương trình hay thậm chí cả Windows thì khi tạo account thì chỉ việc point lại vào folder backup trong phần setting của account.

trong MS Outlook, em có 3 account (như đã nói trên), tất cả mail trong 3 account đó dồn hết vào Folder Inbox. em muốn tách riêng ra, mỗi account 1 folder chứa mail riêng. Làm thế bằng cách nào?

@VietDuc: em cũng định dùng Thunđerbir, nhưng mà cho em hỏi tí: thằng nào chạy nặng hơn ( tốn nhiều tài nguyên máy hơn ) ? Và em có dùng soft Yahoo! Pops để sử dụng POP3 cho cái account Yahoo! Mail của em. Nếu chuyển sang Thunderbird không biết thằng Yahoo! Pops còn hoạt động được không nhỉ?

Dùng thunderbird khó chịu nhất là khi muốn quay lại Outlook. Rất khó để chuyển thư + địa chỉ cũ về outlook. Có một phần mềm nhưng nó đòi bản quyền cơ.

Outlook dùng vẫn thích hơn.

thực ra thì mình thích dùng thunderbird hơn nhưng nếu nói về tính tương thích thì Outlook tiện hơn.

đã dùng thunderbird thì quay sang outlook làm gì :) còn nếu nói về việc backup thì TB hay hơn outlook rồi. nó có thể set folder bất kỳ nào cho mỗi mail account

Moving messages from Thunderbird to Outlook Express and Outlook

Even though Mozilla Thunderbird is a fantastic email client, there are people who (for one reason or another) need to switch back to Microsoft Outlook Express (OE) or Outlook. However, Thunderbird still doesn't have an "Export" feature which would export mail archives in a format understandable by OE or Outlook. IMAPSize can be of great help in this process and this page explains how to perform the migration.

Mozilla Thunderbird stores emails in the mbox format. Outlook Express stores email messages in propriatory *.dbx files but understands *.eml, which are plain text files. MS Outlook stores messages in *.pst files which are binary propriatory (Microsoft) files. Here are the steps you have to take:

1. Compact your Thunderbird folders (optional)

Thunderbird keeps messages in mbox files even after they have been deleted. If you don't want to include deleted messages in the conversion, you have to compact your folders in Thunderbird. Right click a folder and select "Compact This Folder". This will completely remove deleted messages from the folders mbox file.

2. Locate mbox files in Thunderbird

Thunderbird stores messages in the Profile Folder, in the Mail and (if you use IMAP) ImapMail folders. Each mail folder (Inbox, Sent, etc.) is stored as two files — one with no extension (e.g. INBOX), which is the mail file itself (in "mbox" format), and one with an .msf extension (e.g. INBOX.msf), which is the index (Mail Summary File) to the mail file.

3. Convert mbox files to eml files

IMAPSize has a built-in mbox2eml tool that can seemlesly convert thousands and thousands of messages. Download, install and run IMAPSize (it's free) and invoke the mbox2eml option from the Tools menu. Select the mbox file you wish to convert (you might need to set the "Files of type" option to "All Files" in the file selection dialog, since Thunderbird mbox files don't have an extension) and select a location where generated eml files should be stored. Click "Convert" and IMAPSize will start converting the files.

All the attachments will also be converted and your original Thunderbird files will not be touched. Starting from version 0.2.0. you can convert multiple mbox files at once.


4. Import generated eml files into Outlook Express

Launch Outlook Express and select the local folder (or create a new one) into which you want to import your messages. Open Windows Explorer or your favourite file manager, locate the generated eml files, select them and drag and drop them into the OE application window. If Outlook Express is your email client of choice you don't have to perform the next step.


5. Export files from OE to Outlook

Assuming you have Outlook installed on your system, open Outlook Express and from the File menu select Export/Messages. Once exported, the messages will appear in Outlook - if they were in your inbox in OE, they'll be added to your Outlook inbox; if they were in a local subfolder in OE, a folder of the same name will be created under your Outlook inbox.

Trùi ui. Có cách này hay hơn và nhanh hơn nhé. Lần trước em lên mạng thấy có phần mềm thunderstore. Nhưng ko có tool. Bác nào có tool share cho anh em với. Không hiểu sao mấy lần em post bài hỏi toàn bị xóa mất tăm mất tích. Không biết có bác nào là fan cuồng nhiệt của Thunderbird không mà không để cho anh em có đường đi lại gì cả.

tui cũng mê phần outlook này lắm! nhưng mà nhờ người khác làm dùm kô hà, có bạn nào biết chỉ mình sử dụng hé

Thực ra MS Outlook làm việc hiệu quả hơn với doanh nghiệp nhờ những tính năng:
- Lập lịch (nhắc ngày giờ hẹn, time sheet cho các kế hoạch...)
- Lịch meeting (đặt phòng họp, giờ)
- Public Folders: giống như Forum cho một WorkGroup..
Ngoài ra còn nhiều tính năng khác khá hay!
Còn việc hỗ trợ nhiều POP account thì cũng không ngon lắm, khó chia ra các folders! Nếu muốn chia ra thì chắc phải cài thêm các third party sw (mình chưa tìm thử)
