Steganos Safe 7.1.6 - Ensures data privacy and security by automatically encrypting and storing sensitive files on a virtual disk where they can't be seen or read by others. In no time at all you can create up to four virtual drives. All data that you save to these drives will be encrypted live, in real time. The Steganos Safe 7.1.6 offers you up to four secure drives for your sensitive data, each with an overall capacity of up to 32 GB if using Windows 2000 and XP with the NTFS file system or alternatively 4 GB with FAT32 and 2 GB using Windows ME and Windows 98.
- Automatic Crash Protection (ACP) - ensures that no data is left unencrypted, even in the event of abnormal system shutdown.
- As a precautionary measure the Safe is automatically closed when your laptop goes into Standby mode.
Steganos Portable Safe: Your portable data safe on CD, DVD etc. Just take your encrypted drive with you - it can be decrypted on any PC without additional software. You just need the password.
As with all Steganos encryption products, contains the international encryption standard AES with 128 bits.
