Overview
Logbook Pro is available in several download options, all of which install the same product. Broadband users, click the Download button to download the single-file installer. For slower Internet connections such as Dialup, download the Web Setup file then double-click to launch the streaming download installation. The Web Setup installation will resume where left off should the connection get dropped during installation.
PDA Companions are included in the main software installation, and are further installed according to the help file documentation in Logbook Pro (click Help...Contents). No additional download is necessary for the PDA Companion software. (PDA Companions are licensed separately from the PC software).
Logbook Pro will install as an evaluation unless the software has already been registered, upon which the software will use the already entered key code to unlock the newly installed software. If evaluating the software, Logbook Pro will function just like the Enterprise Edition, however, there is a 50-entry limit. To remove evaluation restrictions, purchase a key code from the online store and continue using the same software and data, no additional installations are required, nor do you have to re-enter your data.

PDA Companions are add-only data-entry devices which synchronize, when licensed, with a licensed PC version of Logbook Pro - they do not operate as stand-alone logbooks. The PC version is required for the PDA Companions to function.
Instructions
Click Download then Backup your Logbook Pro data (File..Archive..Backup)
Uninstall any prior installation of Logbook Pro. (registration and data are NOT removed during uninstalls)
Ensure your computer has the latest Windows updates and Internet Explorer updates
Install product
For PDA Companion installation, refer to the help file documentation by clicking Help...Contents, then reading the PDA Companion topics. PDA Companions must be installed EXACTLY as outlined in the help documentation as settings must be made accordingly.
