Làm sao để Thunderbird nhận thư từ yahoo

Mình sử dụng Thunderbird để gửi và nhận thư từ hòm thư Yahoo, đã cấu hình như hướng dẫn rồi nhưng ở trong hòm thư Yahoo của mình thì phải cấu hình như thế nào để Thunderbird nhận được thư của người khác gửi đến, mail server của Yahoo thì điền thế nào?

Thunderbird cũng chỉ là một email client tương tự như Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook hay Incredimail. Các mail client này chỉ hỗ trợ giao thức POP3, IMAP, HTTP. Còn mail của Yahoo là web-based email nên không dùng được với các email client này, trừ khi bạn đăng kí dịch vụ trả phí (Mail Plus chẳng hạn) hoặc dùng một phần mềm third-party hỗ trợ server POP3 ảo (YahooPOPs chẳng hạn).

Ai bảo bác thế, một hòm thư thằng bạn em nó cấu hình hộ em vẫn nhận thư bằng M Thunderbird ầm ầm đấy thôi, chỉ là em cũng muốn như thế vói hòm thư khác thôi.

Có thể hòm thư ấy đã đăng kí Mail Plus, hoặc thuộc một quốc gia nào đó mà Yahoo vẫn còn hỗ trợ POP3 (chẳng hạn @yahoo.co.uk).

In order to use an email client to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages, you must designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server.

If you can't add new POP or SMTP servers, you'll need to change your current server settings. Write down your current settings first -- you may need to revert to your original settings later if you decide to send and receive messages from your other email addresses.


Here are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Mail:



Incoming Mail (POP3) Server:
pop.mail.yahoo.com


Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server:
smtp.mail.yahoo.com (use authentication)


Account Name/Login Name:
your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")


Email Address:
your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)


Password:
your Yahoo! Mail password


Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you will not be able to use it to access your Yahoo! Mail messages.
