Về phía PHP: mình nhận xét www.tripod.co.uk tốt đấy.
Host này không những hỗ trợ PHP, mySQL mà còn có các công cụ FPT rất thân thiện và dễ dùng. Bên cạnh đó, Host này cung cấp các bài học cơ bản về làm web với PHP, HTML, mySQL. Nói chung hỗ trợ rất tốt.
Ngoài ra tripod còn có vài cái Add-in như: Counter, GuestBook ...
Mặc dù có đính kèm barner quảng cáo nhưng chiếm không gian không đáng kể. Các bạn yên tâm xài thử host này.

Về phía ASP thì mình đề nghị sử dụng www.brinkster.com. Host này hỗ trợ ASP tốt, có các bài hướng dẫn, công cụ Upload qua web. Điều thú vị là không có quảng cáo Pop-up và bar-ner.

Mình thấy xuất hiện trang chủ của bạn rồi đó thi!
Freewebs.com host cho bạn 100MB, ko hỗ trợ gì, nhưng bạn lại chỉ được Upload 50 file thôi. Tệ hơn là mỗi lần bạn chỉ được Up 1 file.
Sau khi trang freewebs.com xuất hiện, trên cùng bên phải xuất hiện form login, bạn login với user name và pass của bạn. Sau đó, khi đã logined, bạn thấy ở bên trái, bạn tìm hàng "Site manager", nhấn vào đó. Rồi, bây giờ thì công việc dễ dàng hơn rồi đó, bạn có thể tự mò được phần tiếp theo phải làm !
