Joke: Arriving Home Late

The other night I was invited out for a night with "the girls." I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, "I promise!" Well, the hours passed and the champagne was going down way too easy. Around 3 a.m., drunk to the gills, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly realizing he'd probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution (even when smashed), in order to escape a possible conflict with him. The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, and I told him 12:00. He didn't seem disturbed at all. Whew! Got away with that one! Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock." When I asked him why, he said, "Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said, "oh sh!t," cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the cat and farted.

Mình thấy EnglishRoom toàn nói tiếng Việt k0 hà, nên ngứa tay copy and paste vài mẫu truyện cười = English coi như là góp vui. Bây giờ thì mình biết và nên hạn chế rồi. Xin lỗi mọi người...

click "Sua bai" to enter edit mode. In the editing screen, the [b]Delete[b] button should be here or there.

The "sửa bài" link is right between the "DEL" button and "Trích dẫn". But in those threads I could only find "Trích dẫn".
Do you think that the first post of every stand alone thread can't be deleted??? sad

To tuscan: u don't need to delete the thread then cover it by the others! U can "reply" yours thread by posting another story!(next to the first story). So that everybody can read every story! OK?:D
To everybody:Mod is only like u! I do not find the difference between u and me! may be, The difference here is "I am online more often than some of u---> I can help our EL room del the bad messeges". When entering this web, I hope u will hepl me improve my EL! I want to know deeply IT's EL, 3D,...We here together discuss, no boss here! U make me .....
I know I break the rules! U do not want that? I will ask vikhoa to remove me from mod groups! Then I am very happy to discuss together! No distance here! Very relax and convenient!....

Tôi thực sự kô hiểu sao anh em trên này lại quá đòi hỏi vào việc reply bằng tiếng Anh trong EL room! nếu các bạn gặp tôi, tôi có thể tiếp chuyện các bạn bằng tiếng Anh cả giờ! Nhưng trong diễn đàn của chúng ta, tôi cho là kô nên nhất nhất quan niệm này! Theo ý của tôi, tôi thực sự muốn hướng diễn đàn vào tiếng Anh chuyên nghành, tức là tiếng Anh phục vụ cho dân IT! Đây là diễn đàn về tin học nên mình mong muốn giúp đỡ anh em bên IT! Dân IT gặp kô phải là ít khó khăn trong học tiếng! Vậy thì mọi người trong đây liệu có thể giúp đỡ dân IT chỉ bằng tiếng Anh! Khi mình dịch về 3D và IT, mình thực sự đã rất khổ sở chỉ về 1 từ thôi (chứ chưa nói là cả 1 đống từ mới). Tiếng Anh chuyên ngành dịch rất khó! Mình thật khổ sở nếu post bài lên anh em toàn sài tiếng Anh trả lời!

If you found it some kindda offense, that's your problem, not mine (see the last sentence which i carefully added "no offense at all"). IMO, you got troubles w/ reading. Don't make thing over-serious.

i may be wrong but if this room is just for technical words learning, it should be named "Terminology" or "Tiếng Anh Chuyên Ngành" instead of "English Room"

i'll get out of here for your peace. But i won't feel sorry if you wanna be removed from mod group. Again, that's your story, not mine.
