hiện nay theo mình được biết thì hãng đứng đầu trong công nghệ tạo ra chipset cho các PC,router,adapter ..đó chính là hãng Atheros..với các loại chipset dùng chuẩn 802.11a,b,g . và các chipset này chia làm hai loại để phân biệt đó là chipset -client: dùng cho những máy liên kết dạng point -to-ponit , và chipset-accesspoint dùng cho việc làm điểm truy cập theo dạng point-to-mulitipoint.
nhưng hôm nay mình xin đưa ra một số tính năng của chip set 802.11a bao gồm một số loại điển hình như sau để các bạn lựa chọn khi mua hàng ở việt nam:
AR5001A, AR50001AP,và cũng với AR5001X+
để mô tả sơ lược về tính năng của các chipset trên như sau:
AR5001AP: A two-chip 802.11a access point solution that is the most highly integrated solution ever offered for WLAN access points at any frequency. Features include a high-performance MIPS processor, complete 802.11a solution, multiple 10/100 Ethernet MACs, and multiple UARTs to simplify Bluetooth or other integration
AR5001X+ —The three-chip CMOS solution is thee first to support all of the IEEE 802.11 family of standards: the 5-GHz 802.11a standard, the legacy 2.4-GHz 802.11b standard, and 2.4 GHz 802.11g standard.
AR5001A — A two-chip solution that continues the heritage of Atheros' original award-winning AR5000 chipset but is enhanced to include support for advanced security, international features, increased network system capacity, higher integration to reduce costs, and even better performance than before
và để biết thêm môt số chi tiết kỹ thuật của các chipset khác ...nếu như bạn thật sự quan tâm về khả năng truyền có thể lên được 90mbs cho các server không thì tại sao kô tìm đến mình để lấy thêm tài liệu....cám ơn đã xem
