Hiện tui đang dịch sang tiếng việt toàn bộ Registry của bộ Windows Registry Guides 2003. Khi nào hoàn thành tui sẽ Up lên cho các bạn. (Ăn bứt bộ Registry của Sawyer luôn :) )
Các bạn nào lười đownloa có thể liên hệ trực tiếp với tui để lấy về mà vọc(Nhớ mang theo một đĩa mềm, hay Ramdisk nhé !) :D Tui không có nhiều đĩa mềm để tặng đâu :D

Còn đây là phần mềm WINerTweak, đa tiện dụng : http://www.winnertweak.com/
support 2000,XP. Nó được biên dịch từ bộ Windows Registry Guides 2002 đấy (không biết có version mới chưa nữa !) Là bộ phần mềm tổng hợp về Registry, và cả về Security cho Folder nữa. Giao diện bắt mắt, dể hiểu và dể sử dụng.

Open your registry and find the key below.
Change the value of "SFCDisable" to equal "ffffff9d" to disable Windows File Protection or "0" to enable it. The other valid hexadecimal values are:
· 1 - disabled, prompt at boot to re-enable
· 2 - disabled at next boot only, no prompt to re-enable
· 4 - enabled, with popups disabled
· ffffff9d - for completely disabled

Restart Windows for the change to take effect.


Additional Steps for Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 and Windows XP
This setting is disabled in Windows 2000 SP2 and Windows XP, and needs to re-enabled using a hex editor and changing SFC.DLL (or SFC_OS.DLL for Windows XP) following these instructions:

Windows 2000 SP2
1. Make a backup the SFC.DLL in the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.
2. Make an additional copy of SFC.DLL called SFC1.DLL and open it in a hex editor.
3. At offset 00006211 (6211h) you should find the values "8B" and "C6". Do not continue if you are unable to find these values.
4. Change the values "8B C6" to read "90 90" and save the changes.
5. Run these commands to update the system files:
6. copy c:\winnt\system32\sfc1.dll c:\winnt\system32\sfc.dll /y
7. copy c:\winnt\system32\sfc1.dll c:\winnt\system32\dllcache\sfc.dll /y
8. If you are prompted to insert the Windows CD, click Cancel.
9. Restart Windows for the change to take effect.


Windows XP
1. Make a backup the SFC_OS.DLL in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory.
2. Make an additional copy of SFC_OS.DLL called SFC_OS1.DLL and open it in a hex editor.
3. With Windows XP (no Service Pack)
At offset 0000E2B8 (0E2B8h) you should find the values "8B" and "C6".
With Windows XP (Service Pack 1)
At offset 0000E3BB (0E3BBh) you should find the values "8B" and "C6".
4. Do not continue if you are unable to find these values.
5. Change the values "8B C6" to read "90 90" and save the changes.
6. Run these commands to update the system files:
7. copy c:\windows\system32\sfc_os1.dll c:\windows\system32\sfc_os.dll /y
8. copy c:\windows\system32\sfc_os1.dll c:\windows\system32\dllcache\sfc_os.dll /y
9. If you are prompted to insert the Windows CD, click Cancel.
10. Restart Windows for the change to take effect.


Once these files have been updated apply the registry setting above.
Note: You must manually modify the operating system files using a hex editor to allow this tweak to disable SFC on Windows 2000 (SP1+) or Windows XP.

These settings allow you to boost the speed of your broadband Internet connection when using a Cable Modem or DSL Router with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Open your registry and find the key below.

Create the following DWORD values, as most of these values will not already exist you will need to create them by clicking on 'Edit -> New -> DWORD Value' and then set the value as shown below.

DefaultTTL = "80" hex (or 128 decimal)
Specifies the default time to live (TTL) for TCP/IP packets. The default is 32.

EnablePMTUBHDetect = "0"
Specifies whether the stack will attempt to detect Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) routers that do not send back ICMP fragmentation-needed messages. The default is 0.

EnablePMTUDiscovery = "1"
Specifies whether the TCP/IP stack will attempt to perform path MTU discovery as specified in RFC 1191. The default is 1.

GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = "7FFF" hex (or 32767 decimal)
Specifies the system maximum receive window size advertised by the TCP/IP stack.

TcpMaxDupAcks = "2"
Determines the number of duplicate ACKs that must be received for the same sequence number of sent data before "fast retransmit" is triggered.

SackOpts = "1"
Enables support for selective acknowledgements as documented by Request for Comment (RFC) 2018. Default is 0.

Tcp1323Opts = "1"
Controls RFC 1323 time stamps and window scaling options. Possible values are: "0" = disable RFC 1323 options, "1" = window scale enabled only, "2" = time stamps enabled only and "3" = both options enabled.

TcpWindowSize = "7FFF" hex (or 32767 decimal)
Specifies the receive window size advertised by the TCP/IP stack. If you have a latent network you can try increasing the value to 93440, 186880, or 372300.

Exit your registry and restart Windows for the changes to take effect.
Note: These optimized settings may not work with all ISP configurations, in which case the parameters should be returned to the default values.

Trời,nếu bro có công dịch thì hãy post lên đây,nếu post kiểu này thì cứ để người ta đọc cái ebook đó sẽ dễ dàng tiếp thu hơn nhiều .

Ha ha giời ơi là giời regedit english kìa, có ai hỉu không vậy???? làm ơn translate đi pác ơi, post lên là điều tốt, nhưng đâu phải ai cũng bít đọc (đọc của cậu Saywer đã mệt lắm rùi)

mình có làm chương trình FlashRegistry với các thủ thuật được chọn lọc từ file CHM của WinGuides các bạn có thể down về dùng ,giao diện tiếng Việt được viết bằng FlashMX 2004 .Với cái này bạn ko phải dọc Regedit chỉ cần check vào các check box là OK.
cái này mình chỉ làm trên Xp nên các hệ điều hành như Win98,Me sẽ ko chạy được một số thủ thuật.tốt nhất là chạy trên Xp thôi

Soft của Napo nhìn chung là rất tốt , nhưng mà lúc setup giống.... con nít quá,bỏ qua bước setup này sẽ hay hơn nhiều,theo tôi nghĩ bro chỉ ghi khóa registry thôi,không cần thiết phải cho nó vào program files chi cho mệt !

MOD chanhlinh mắc dịch ! Chê cũng chê vừa vừa thôi chứ ! Tui thấy cũng dễ hiểu, dễ đọc mà !
Hai bộ Registry tiếng Việt của Sawyer va Napo. cũng đã khá tốt rồi ! Và hình như nếu tôi có trans. ra TV thì cũng đụng hàng với Napo. thì phải ? Cùng của Winguides mừ !
Nếu thế thì chắc tôi phải tạm dừng ở đây thôi, bởi nếu trans. ra làm chi cho giống hệt, rồi tui trans dở hơn lại bị chê nữa :D Thôi thì nên tạm dừng thì hơn ! :D
