10. CTRL/Command T(Free Transform)
You've selected the object and now you want to rotate/move/flip/resize it. This handy shortcut allows you to jump right into to editing it. A bounding box will appear around the object and you can

9. F (Full Screen views)
For those times when you need to make the image as big as possible and you need all of the screen space you can afford, press the letter F to cycle through the Full screen views. (this option is also available under the toolbox)!

8. J (Airbrush tool)
Once you start to use the advanced brushes, you'll start enjoying using the airbrush tool (and mucking with the opacity)!

7. CTRL/Command E (Merge linked or visible layers)
Make sure when you're in the layer's palette that you're on the layer you want the other layers to merge to and use this shortcut!

6. M (Marquee tool)
A straighforward shortcut for a straightforward tool.

5. SHIFT/ tool shortcut (Rotate through hidden tools)
If the Radial Gradient is showing and you want the reflected gradient, hold down the SHIFT key and press "G" a few times until you get the one you want!

3. CTRL/Command ALT/Option F (Open last Filter Dialog box)
This is a great command if you use Filters. When you apply a Filter, you may decide after seeing it rendered that you want to tweak it again because it's a tiny bit off (or maybe way off). Well, normally you might have to undo the last step and hunt through the Filters menu again to apply the filter and return to that same dialog box. This shortcut takes you right back there without having to undo anything so you can tweak the effect. What a great shortcut!

2. CTRL - (Zoom out)CTRL + (Zoom in)
You can zoom in and out quickly without even pressing "Z" or calling up the toolbox.

Making selections can be a tricky business. It can be so much easier to make a selection of what you want when you can make a basic selection and then trim the chaff or add what's necessary. Instead of using the magic wand to make the original selection, you can use it to deselect the stuff you don't want.
