Lotus Concept Valve Train uses template driven data entry to design cam profiles. The motion can be specified from either the cam or valve end of the mechanism. Motion definition is via segmented polynomials with user controlled levels of derivative definition. On-screen results show the profile summary compared to user-definable design limits.
