WindowBlinds 6.0 giải pháp số 1 để tân trang windows XP/Vista
Tiếp nối sự thành công của phiên bản 5.5 hãng StarDock vừa cho phát hàng WindowBlinds 6.0 với nhiều tính năng mới hấp dẫn. Nếu trong windows vista, muốn sử dụng giao diện AERO với hiệu ứng trong suốt, bạn phải trang bị cho máy tính một cấu hình mạnh, card đồ họa dung lượng lớn, bộ nhớ RAM phải cao, nhưng với WindowBlinds 6.0 thì khá, máy tính cấu hình trung bình vẫn có thể chạy được giao diện AERO thậm chí có thể giả lập giao diện này trên Windows XP.
Ấn tượng đầu tiên sau khi khởi động WindowBlinds 6.0 là các chức năng chính đã được sắp xếp vào một thẻ một cách hợp lý hơn. Giao diện gồm 5 thẻ chính là: Look & Feel (quản lý các theme), wallpaper (quản lý hình nền), Setting (cấu hình), System info(thông tin hệ thống), About(thông tin về chương trình và hiệu chỉnh giao diện cho chương trình)

Hiệu ứng Transparency (hay còn gọi là hiệu ứng Glass, làm cho cửa sổ ứng dụng trở nên trong suốt) phiên bản 5.5 thể hiện khá tốt song vẫn còn một số nhược điểm nhất định. Với WindowBlinds 6.0 thì hầu hết mọi khuyết điểm đã được khắc phục triệt để, vì chương trình đã được bổ sung thêm hiệu ứng blur (làm mờ các đối tượng nằm bên dưới cửa sổ trong suốt). Kết hợp 2 hiệu ứng này chúng ta sẽ có 1 giao diện tuyệt đẹp như Aero trong Windows Vista.
Mặt khác, WindowBlinds 6.0 còn khuyến mãi người dùng 7 bộ theme tyuệt đẹp, bao gồm: Classic(giao diện truyền thống nhưng các nút bấm được thiết kế lại chuyên nghiệp hơn), Diamon (giao diện Vista cho người dùng XP với những hiệu ứng tương tự như Aero, nhưng không đòi hỏi cấu hình cao như Vista), Leo (giao diện màu xám trong xuốt, thiết kế dựa trên nền giao diện của MAC), Molten (giao diện động với những đốm lửa và chú rồng rực lửa khi mở menu start), Windows XP Style (giao diện XP dành cho người dùng Vista "hoài cổ" ), Windows Classic (giao diện cổ điển)
Khi chuyển đổi qua lại giữa các giao diện, toàn bộ màn hình sẽ được làm mờ dần bằng hiệu ứng blur trông rất đẹp mắt. WindowBlinds 6.0 còn cho phép bạn tùy biến màu sắc cho từng theme nhằm tạo nên sự phong phú trong việc sử dụng theme đó. Bạn chỉ cần truy cập đến thẻ Look & Feel > colour và điều chỉnh thanh trượt ở các mục sao cho vừa ý.
