Cách đây khoảng hơn 4 tháng, Intel đã giới thiệu CPU Core thế hệ 3 mới nhất của mình mang code name IVY Bridge. Những CPU mới này vẫn sử dụng socket LGA 1155, cpu này phục vụ cho thị trường desktop mainstream, cùng với sự ra mắt của Intel chipset mới – series 7 (H77, Z77, B75, Q77).
CPU IVY Bridge được sản xuất trên công nghệ 22nm, việc chuyển đổi từ 32nm xuống 22nm giúp Intel thêm được nhiều transitor vào CPU, giảm lượng điện tiêu thụ và mát hơn. CPU IVY Bridge là bản nâng cấp không nhiều của CPU Sandy Bridge, sự thay đổi lớn nhất của IVY Bridge chính là GPU Onboard Intel HD 4000.

Cùng với việc ra mắt CPU Intel IVY Bridge i5 và i7, Intel vẫn duy trì CPU Intel Sandy Bridge dòng phổ thông trên thị trường. Và mãi đến những ngày cuối tháng 8 Intel mới chính thức ra mắt CPU Intel IVY Bridge i3, 2 nhân (4 threads) để thay thế cho những CPU Intel Sandy Bridge i3.

Và đến hôm nay mình đã may mắn sở hữu một em CPU I3 3225 nên làm bài review giới thiệu đến mọi người. i3 3225 là CPU dual-core được trang bị thêm công nghệ siêu phân luồng (i3 cái nào cũng có) nên có 4 threads, có bộ nhớ đệm L3 3MB, và là một thành viên đặc biệt của gia đình i3 là I3 3225 được trang bị nhân đồ họa Intel HD 4000 trong khi các thành viên còn lại chỉ là Intel HD 2500.

Với phiên bản hiện tại của CPUZ, thì chương trình này chưa nhận đầy đủ thông số của I3 thế hệ mới này phần tên của CPU vẫn sai (nhận thành i5 3550 có lẽ do cùng mức xung). CPU i3 3225 có mức xugn mặc định là 3.3GHz, 3MB L3 cache, max TDP là 55W (giảm 10W so với I3 Sandy Bridge).

Intel HD 4000 đi kèm với CPU i3 3225, được trang bị 16 shaders units, mức xung core là 650MHz và xung mem là 800Mhz, hỗ trợ DirectX 11.

Qua một vài kết quả sử dụng thực tế và bằng phần mềm benchmark ta thấy hiệu năng của combo I3 3225 + HD4000 tăng trên 20% so với combo I3 2125 ở cùng mức setting như nhau. Nếu tăng mức setting lên nữa thì mức độ % chênh lệch cũng không giảm nhiều.

Nhìn vào bảng tổng hợp thì hiệu năng I3 3225 chỉ tăng từ 5%-10% so với I3 2125, trong đó có nhiều ứng dụng thực sự không chênh lệch hoặc có thì rất ít.
Kết luận
Hiệu năng của CPU Intel IVY Bridge được cải thiện đáng kể về hiệu năng đồ họa khi so sánh với CPU thế hệ trước (Sandy Bridge). Cùng với việc hỗ trợ DirectX 11, IGP của intel hỗ trợ khá nhiều game mới nhất ở thời điểm hiện tại.
Nhìn vào kết quả test, thì Intel HD 4000 có thể chơi được (FPS>40) các game ở độ phân giải HD (1280x720) tuy rằng chỉ là mức low setting.
Trong quá khứ, card đồ họa IGP và driver của intel không được nhiều gamer đón nhận vì không hỗ trợ game tốt, hãy lỗi vặt. Thì với IGP thế hệ mới này trong suốt quá trình benchmark thì tôi không gặp bất cứ một vấn đề nào.
Nhờ vào tiến trình 22nm mà hiệu suất của CPU Ivy Bridge cũng được nâng cao, tiết kiệm điện hơn CPU Sandy Bridge, nhiệt độ ra thấp hơn, I3 3225 sẽ là sự lựa chọn để xây dựng một bộ máy HTPC với card tích hợp có sẵn đủ để đảm đương việc play movie Full HD, Blueray một cách nhẹ nhàng, chơi game độ phân giải HD với mức setting low. Và nếu có điều kiện bạn nên xem xét việc sử dụng cpu + thêm VGA rời (tầm HD7750) sẽ cho bạn những trải nghiệm tuyệt vời hơn trong game so với card onboard Intel HD 4000.
Ưu và nhược điểm
Ưu điểm
- Hỗ trợ DirectX 11
- Được sản xuất trên tiến trình 22nm.
- Hỗ trợ DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4 và 3D Support.
- Hiệu năng của GPU tăng đáng kể so với thế hệ trước.
- Hỗ trợ bus ram lên đến 1600.
Nhược điểm
- Không có ram riêng cho GPU mà phải sài chung ram với ram hệ thống.

CPU IVY Bridge được sản xuất trên công nghệ 22nm, việc chuyển đổi từ 32nm xuống 22nm giúp Intel thêm được nhiều transitor vào CPU, giảm lượng điện tiêu thụ và mát hơn. CPU IVY Bridge là bản nâng cấp không nhiều của CPU Sandy Bridge, sự thay đổi lớn nhất của IVY Bridge chính là GPU Onboard Intel HD 4000.

Cùng với việc ra mắt CPU Intel IVY Bridge i5 và i7, Intel vẫn duy trì CPU Intel Sandy Bridge dòng phổ thông trên thị trường. Và mãi đến những ngày cuối tháng 8 Intel mới chính thức ra mắt CPU Intel IVY Bridge i3, 2 nhân (4 threads) để thay thế cho những CPU Intel Sandy Bridge i3.

Và đến hôm nay mình đã may mắn sở hữu một em CPU I3 3225 nên làm bài review giới thiệu đến mọi người. i3 3225 là CPU dual-core được trang bị thêm công nghệ siêu phân luồng (i3 cái nào cũng có) nên có 4 threads, có bộ nhớ đệm L3 3MB, và là một thành viên đặc biệt của gia đình i3 là I3 3225 được trang bị nhân đồ họa Intel HD 4000 trong khi các thành viên còn lại chỉ là Intel HD 2500.

Với phiên bản hiện tại của CPUZ, thì chương trình này chưa nhận đầy đủ thông số của I3 thế hệ mới này phần tên của CPU vẫn sai (nhận thành i5 3550 có lẽ do cùng mức xung). CPU i3 3225 có mức xugn mặc định là 3.3GHz, 3MB L3 cache, max TDP là 55W (giảm 10W so với I3 Sandy Bridge).

Intel HD 4000 đi kèm với CPU i3 3225, được trang bị 16 shaders units, mức xung core là 650MHz và xung mem là 800Mhz, hỗ trợ DirectX 11.

Qua một vài kết quả sử dụng thực tế và bằng phần mềm benchmark ta thấy hiệu năng của combo I3 3225 + HD4000 tăng trên 20% so với combo I3 2125 ở cùng mức setting như nhau. Nếu tăng mức setting lên nữa thì mức độ % chênh lệch cũng không giảm nhiều.

Nhìn vào bảng tổng hợp thì hiệu năng I3 3225 chỉ tăng từ 5%-10% so với I3 2125, trong đó có nhiều ứng dụng thực sự không chênh lệch hoặc có thì rất ít.
Kết luận
Hiệu năng của CPU Intel IVY Bridge được cải thiện đáng kể về hiệu năng đồ họa khi so sánh với CPU thế hệ trước (Sandy Bridge). Cùng với việc hỗ trợ DirectX 11, IGP của intel hỗ trợ khá nhiều game mới nhất ở thời điểm hiện tại.
Nhìn vào kết quả test, thì Intel HD 4000 có thể chơi được (FPS>40) các game ở độ phân giải HD (1280x720) tuy rằng chỉ là mức low setting.
Trong quá khứ, card đồ họa IGP và driver của intel không được nhiều gamer đón nhận vì không hỗ trợ game tốt, hãy lỗi vặt. Thì với IGP thế hệ mới này trong suốt quá trình benchmark thì tôi không gặp bất cứ một vấn đề nào.
Nhờ vào tiến trình 22nm mà hiệu suất của CPU Ivy Bridge cũng được nâng cao, tiết kiệm điện hơn CPU Sandy Bridge, nhiệt độ ra thấp hơn, I3 3225 sẽ là sự lựa chọn để xây dựng một bộ máy HTPC với card tích hợp có sẵn đủ để đảm đương việc play movie Full HD, Blueray một cách nhẹ nhàng, chơi game độ phân giải HD với mức setting low. Và nếu có điều kiện bạn nên xem xét việc sử dụng cpu + thêm VGA rời (tầm HD7750) sẽ cho bạn những trải nghiệm tuyệt vời hơn trong game so với card onboard Intel HD 4000.
