The program recognizes and builds on candidate skills by accepting the identified 3rd-party Vendor Neutral Certifications as key components of the Symantec Certification Program. The Symantec exams focus on testing candidates' knowledge of Symantec's strategy and solutions. The program acknowledges and accepts industry certifications that have already been achieved which shortens the time for the candidate to get certified while still ensuring the candidates' level of expertise.
