That's cool, how come on earth I didn't notice such an interesting topic before. Let me try my answer for psd@ riddle : the third word is language. Is that true, psd@ :D (hint: do not pay attention to the sentence cos it's a ruse to throw you off, therefore all the searching in dictionaries are pointless, but anyway, it's quite a famous riddle in the net, and personally, I'm not so satisfied with the given answer, obviously, above all, it's not my genuine answer, cos I myself cannot find a satisfactory answer for it :D )
Finally, it's my pleasure to participate in the English forum :)

anyone interest in a fotball riddle?then try this:in a recent soccer match,Blackburn rovers beat Newcatle united
2-1 .what could the half-time score have been?
-how many different possible half-time scores are there if the final score is 2-1?how many if the final score is 4-3?
-how many dif "routes" are there to any final score?for example, for the above match, putting Blackburn score first, the sequence could be:0-0->0-1->1-1->2-1or0-0->1-0->1-1->2-1or0-0->1-0->2-0->2-1.so in this case there are 3 routes.

Riddle Of The Week?
Three men checked into a hotel room for which they paid $30. The next day, the manager realized that the men had been overcharged. She gave the bellhop $5 to return to the three men. On the way to their room the bellhop decided to keep $2 for himself, and give each of the three men one dollar. The three men had now paid $9 each, or a total of $27. This plus the $2 the bellhop kept makes a total of $29. What happened to the other dollar?
