IT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

- Service implementation and transition – Participate in Due diligence, defining roadmap for service transitions or implementation of new infrastructure
- Support in development of transition plan, competency development, facilitate takeover of task and go-live support.
- Support technical escalation, collaborate with onsite/ offshore team and customer coordinators, Stakeholders management, technical documentation and training delivery
- Deliver quality of services committed to the customer as per defined SLA and KPI’s
- Ensure customer satisfaction in the Services Delivered and continuous improvement of services
- Support in proposals preparation for new and existing infrastructure

Job Requirement:

- Expertise in Windows server administration ( 2012 R2 )
- Experience in Linux Administration
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
- Knowledge in Oracle DB administration/ SQL server
- Good knowledge in setting up infrastructure monitoring Splunk/ ICINGA/ Zabbix
- Good to have knowledge in network infrastructure, Firewall, Load balancing setup and security implementation
- Knowledge in ITIL V3
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player
- Experience in Hybris commerce or Hyperion Administration wil be an added advantage
- MCSE/ LPI1,2 / Security certified would be an advantage

Infrastructure and Application Support (Splunk/Zabbix)

Job Description:

- SPLUNK Installation, Configuration and Migration.
- Monitor alert setup in SPLUNK for servers and applications
- Troubleshoot of identified issues and implementation of corrective actions
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability of SPLUNK Servers
- Automation of the repeated process using scripts
- Collaborate with support teams for Database support,
- Application Server Backup and Restoration
- ITIL based Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management in Ticketing tool (SMT)
- Provide 24/7 support including planned Maintenance Support and On Call readiness support

Job Requirement:

- Expertise in Linux OS
- Knowledge of Splunk/Zabbix Infrastructure
- Design and customize complex search queries, and promote advanced searching, forensics and analytics, develop dashboards, data models, reports and optimize their performance
- Designing and developing reports and Dashboards using Splunk Queries
- Creating Knowledge objects with Splunk
- Experience in CIM, creating lookups, field Aliases, calculated fields, field extractor, Tags and event types, workflow actions, Alerts and scheduled reports, Macros with Splunk.
- Knowledgeable in use of JAVA Script within SPLUNK
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Shell script.
- Good to have knowledge on JAVA and SPRING is added advantage
