Prerequisites


The knowledge and skills contained in the Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) and CCNA Basics learning paths; a good foundation in the principles and concepts of networks and computers; familiarity with internetworking technologies

# identify the functions and features of the network organizational model and architecture and recognize the relationship between the two.
# define network organizational policies and organizational procedures and recognize how they influence network design.
# identify and differentiate between network organizational models and architectures and their associated policies and procedures.
# associate design with the PDIOO methodology and identify design methodology steps.
# identify how and why top-down network design practices should be used in network design and recognize the importance of recording design information in every phase of network design.
# identify relevant design methodologies and their features given specific scenarios.
